Materials

What we use to make stickers.

The materials that go into your sticker.

Vinyl

We use Substance Vinyl. We like a lot of things about this vinyl.

It's ridiculously strong, and unless they're specifically designed not to be (stubborn stickers!), it comes up clean off of most surfaces.

It's made in America, free of distributors, so shipping is fast — when we're out of stock in something you want, it's almost never more than a week before we've got it loaded up in our printer. We hear North Carolina is nice. We should ask for a tour.

While it's a little hard on blades (they last about half as long with this stuff as we've found with other vinyls), the backing is plain — no branding — and either white or kraft, depending on the vinyl you pick.

And we like that they make a vinyl for just about every application we print for. With few exceptions, our products and their products line up perfectly.

Ink

We run two inks: Eco-Sol and UV. Both are Roland inks, and both are stupidly durable — different flavors of tough, not better-or-worse.

Honestly, most of this is academic. Regardless of which sticker you choose, assuming you've picked the right adhesive for the job, it'll probably keep being a sticker until you decide you don't want the thing it's stuck to anymore, or you've passed it down in your will.
